Prior to her position as digital content manager, Cordero served as Heritage's broadcast services director, where she was responsible for the execution of over 5,000 radio and television bookings for Heritage policy experts each year on local and national radio and television all over the world.

Cordero’s background in journalism includes working as an assistant editor and reporter at Human Events, the pioneering conservative weekly and website.

She appeared on national news programs such as Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” “The O’Reilly Factor,” “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” and “Studio B with Shepard Smith.”

Immediately before joining Heritage in 2012, Cordero was communications director for Freedom Alliance, the charitable and educational nonprofit founded by Oliver North to support members of the armed forces and their families.

Her career began as a researcher for Robert D. Novak, the influential syndicated columnist who died in 2009. She previously worked for the Evans-Novak Political Report as an intern with the National Journalism Center.

She collaborates often with major brands and has been spotlighted on Bon Appetit as well as Glamour, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Food & Wine, Refinery29, and more.
