Esther Bouquet is a Senior Associate for the Free Enterprise Initiative at The Heritage Foundation.
Bouquet is an attorney working at the intersection of shareholder advocacy, free enterprise, and corporate transparency. She joins the Free Enterprise Initiative following her work as a Project Associate at the National Center for Public Policy Research, where she engaged with corporate leaders to advance transparency and shareholder value.
Bouquet earned her bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary and her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law. While in law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of We the People, Elon Law’s constitutional law journal, and completed her residency-in-practice at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Her experience includes private practice and work with educational nonprofits, including developing civil discourse programs with the Bill of Rights Institute in 2022. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with her American Doberman, Zuzu.
