Elizabeth Hanke was a research fellow at The Heritage Foundation where she focused on labor economic issues, such as immigration and the future of work.

Before joining Heritage in 2020, Hanke worked at Clark University as a teaching and research assistant in the Economics Department.

She earned a Ph.D. in Economics at Clark University, a Master of Arts degree in Economics at Clark University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Rhode Island. Hanke grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
