Description
Join Dr. Kevin Roberts and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner as they explore how faith shapes their family, work, and daily life. In an era marked by cultural change, increasing polarization, and growing pressures to separate one’s faith from public life, this conversation will examine the importance of holding firmly to eternal principles.
Secretary Turner will reflect on his faith journey, including through nine seasons playing in the NFL, representing District 33 in Texas’ House of Representatives, serving as an associate pastor for Prestonwood Baptist Church, and finally leading the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. From navigating public discourse to sustaining conviction amid opposition, he will offer insights drawn from his experience remaining faithful while serving at the highest levels of influence.
Drawing on his leadership and scholarship, Dr. Roberts will offer perspective on why faith‑rooted principles are essential for navigating public and private life with courage and integrity.
