Conservative Hill Intern Program
Own Your Hill Experience
Summer 2026
Embarking on a summer internship on Capitol Hill? Wondering how to springboard your internship into an exciting career?
We can help.
The Heritage Foundation’s Summer 2026 Conservative Hill Intern Program (CHIP) is accepting applications. CHIP is a series of weekly breakfast meetings designed for conservative interns. You’ll have the chance to connect with fellow conservatives, deepen your understanding of policy, and make the most of your internship experience in Washington.
Through CHIP, you will:
• Get practical insights on how to thrive on the Hill.
• Improve your grasp of pressing issues being debated in Congress.
• Connect with other conservative interns from across the country.
We encourage you to attend as many sessions as possible. See below the sample CHIP schedule.
Program Dates: June 5-July 24
Application Deadline: Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
