Alyene Senger researched and wrote about the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and conservative solutions to health care challenges as a policy analyst in The Heritage Foundation’s Center for Health Policy Studies.

Senger had recently returned to Heritage after serving as a legislative assistant in the office of U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb.

She also regularly weighs in on health policy matters as a guest on radio and television shows.

Senger, who first joined Heritage in 2012 as a research assistant, received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Kent State University in Ohio. She currently resides in Washington.
