Wesley Coopersmith is Chief of Staff to Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts.

He previously worked as Director of Federal Affairs for States Trust, the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s federal affairs initiative. Before joining TPPF, he worked in the Senate as Legislative Director to Senator Kelly Loeffler (Georgia).

Prior to his position in the U.S. Senate, Coopersmith served as the Deputy Director of Government Relations at Heritage Action for America, where he managed the staff’s day-to-day interactions with U.S. senators and their staff.

Coopersmith holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science as well as a bachelor's degree in Biblical and Religious Studies from Grove City College. Originally from the greater Philadelphia region, Coopersmith now resides in Washington, D.C., with his wife and two sons.
