Tyler is Managing Editor of The Daily Signal.

Tyler O’Neil oversees the day-to-day operations of The Daily Signal, The Heritage Foundation’s news outlet. He writes, edits, assigns, and stewards news and commentary on Heritage’s key issues, mentoring reporters and striving to cultivate original and exclusive content.

A Hillsdale College graduate, O’Neil has written for numerous outlets, including Fox News Digital, PJ Media, The Christian Post, National Review, The Washington Free Beacon, and more. In 2020, he published his first book, Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center.

He has appeared on numerous television shows, including Tucker Carlson Tonight.

O’Neil was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children.
