Janae Stracke is the Vice President of Outreach and Advocacy at The Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America. In this dual hat role, she bridges the gap between the great work of Heritage Action’s activists with the outreach efforts of Heritage’s partnerships and coalitions.

As Vice President of Outreach and Advocacy, Stracke leads Heritage Action’s Sentinel Nation—an army of grassroots conservatives—along with two million grassroots activists and hundreds of conservative partners and coalitions, while overseeing nearly two dozen full-time staffers nationwide, all working towards a freer and more prosperous America.

Stracke was previously director of grassroots at Heritage Action. Under her leadership, Stracke has helped Heritage Action secure over 100 state legislative victories on conservative policies championed by The Heritage Foundation. They include expanding education freedom, protecting life and families, ensuring election integrity, countering Communist China, safeguarding free speech, and securing the border.

During her time in Washington, D.C., Stracke has also played a key role in engaging conservative activists during consequential fights, such as Supreme Court nominee confirmations, including spearheading the “no hearings, no votes” movement following the passing of Justice Scalia and leading to the efforts to see Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett confirmed. Stracke also helped lead and organize the “Women for Kavanaugh” tour and movement during her time working for Concerned Women for America, where she served as both national field director and communications coordinator.

Stracke grew up on a farm in western lowa and attended Liberty University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a double minor in public relations and psychology. She has made appearances on NewsMax, One America News, CBN, SkyNews, NPR, Family Talk, Real America’s Voice, Breitbart, and local broadcast and radio. She has been published in CNSNews, The Daily Signal, and Townhall, among other media outlets.
