Doug Stamps was responsible for communicating The Heritage Foundation’s mission to current and prospective members across the country and for securing investments in Heritage's vision of building an America where freedom, opportunity, prosperity and civil society flourish.

Stamps lead key development strategies and oversees efforts to finance priority initiatives and special projects.

He returned to Heritage in the fall of 2010 after serving as director of donor relations for the George W. Bush Foundation in Dallas. His previous roles at Heritage included manager of donor relations, deputy director of Senate relations and publishing coordinator for the Index of Economic Freedom, published annually by Heritage and The Wall Street Journal.

A former associate director of federal affairs for Koch Industries Inc., he also worked for the 2004 Bush-Cheney campaign.

Stamps and his wife, Anglea, currently reside in Dallas-Fort Worth with their three sons.
