WASHINGTON—This week, The Heritage Foundation launched a new podcast on national security and international affairs that makes geopolitics accessible as Americans seek clarity on rapidly unfolding global events.
The Parliament Podcast features leading voices in defense, intelligence, and international affairs to provide engaging analysis of policies and strategies needed to defend American interests and sustain U.S. leadership in an increasingly contested world. Going beyond the headlines, the podcast examines how global power actually works.
Victoria Coates, vice president of Heritage’s Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy, and featured guest in the first episode to discuss Operation Epic Fury, made the following statement:
“As the Vice President of the Davis Institute, I am very excited about The Parliament Podcast. It will be Heritage’s signature vehicle to communicate our national security policies to our key audience—the American people."
Darion Ouliguian, host of The Parliament Podcast and a senior program coordinator in the Davis Institute at Heritage, added:
“The Heritage Foundation hosts countless brilliant minds in the national security space, and The Parliament Podcast is an opportunity to platform those voices in a way that anyone can understand what is happening in the world. This show isn't just for the DC policy nerds, but also for Americans who want to know why their gas is expensive, why their cousin is being deployed, and what is just legacy-media clickbait.”
