WASHINGTON—Today, The Heritage Foundation, Blaze Media, and The Daily Signal released a new documentary by Nick Freitas that examines how decades of mass immigration have transformed the United Kingdom (UK) and why Britain’s experience should serve as a warning to the United States.

The 55-minute film traces the roots of Britain’s immigration crisis from the government of former Prime Minister Tony Blair through the premiership of Boris Johnson and into the political realignment unfolding across Britain today. British commentators and policy experts Patrick Christys, Matt Goodwin, Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, Konstantin Kisin, and Winston Marshall discuss the rapid growth of the UK’s foreign-born population, illegal migration, and sweeping demographic change—and how these trends are eroding British identity, social cohesion, and the criminal justice system.

Freitas and the film’s contributors also examine the relationship between mass immigration, non-integration, and the rise of Islamist extremism in Britain. The documentary explores incompatibility between Islamist ideology and Western values and highlights the grooming-gang scandal, in which hundreds of thousands of white, working-class girls in communities across England were subjected to rape, sexual exploitation and abuse by Pakistani and other immigrants from Muslim countries over several years without investigation or criminal enforcement.

Freitas, Heydel-Mankoo, and others caution that the United States will face similar threats if mass immigration and non-enforcement persist and draw on historical demographic data to dispel the characterization of both Britain and America as historically “nations of immigrants.”

Heritage experts Nile Gardiner, Mike Gonzalez, and Lora Ries draw parallels between the British and American experiences, examining the lessons and warnings Britain’s mass immigration and non-integration hold for the United States.

We are seeing this play out in the United States and sadly, the United Kingdom is farther down this path. Nick has done a masterful job showing how the spread of Islamification in the United Kingdom has brought that country to the brink and why it is a blueprint for the United States to avoid.”
