Ana Quintana to Testify Before House Oversight and Government Reform Committee

Jan 16, 2018 1 min read

This Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., Ana Quintana, Heritage policy analyst for Latin America and the Western Hemisphere will testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform's Subcommittee on National Security on the Obama administration's failed policy approach to the Castro regime in Cuba, and what can be done to establish a more effective policy toward the island nation.

From Quintana's testimony: "The Obama-era Cuba policy has been a demonstrated failure for both U.S. national security interests, the rule of law, and the future of a free Cuba. The failures were not contained to Cuba either, as the regime’s destabilizing role in the region was never contained."

More information about the hearing can be found here. To schedule an interview with Ana, please contact Senior Communications Manager John Cooper.
