As Vice President of People Operations, Kelly Adams leads Heritage’s people strategy, focusing on strengthening the workforce, elevating the employee experience, modernizing processes through data and technology, and championing initiatives that support employees and their families, reinforcing the organization’s core belief that people are policy.
Kelly also oversees the Phillip N. Truluck Center for Leadership Development, ensuring greater alignment and cohesion across Heritage’s leadership and talent development pipeline.
She joined Heritage in 2014 and previously served as Personnel Associate, Senior Personnel Manager, and Director of People Operations. Before Heritage, she worked as HR Manager at the Committee for Economic Development. Kelly holds a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Johns Hopkins University, a bachelor’s degree from Hood College, and the SHRM-SCP certification. She received Heritage’s President’s Award in 2023.
