National Security

To secure America as a sovereign nation of strong families, free from threats at home and abroad,

by restoring military strength, economic prosperity, and domestic security guided by vital national interests

America’s sovereignty and security are the foundation of its freedom. Yet today, those pillars face unprecedented threats—from hostile regimes abroad to lawlessness at home. Our adversaries, led by the Chinese Communist Party, seek to undermine America’s strength through economic coercion, technological dominance, and military aggression. At the same time, porous borders, rising crime, and foreign influence erode the safety and stability of our communities.

Heritage is committed to restoring a strong and secure America. We believe national security begins with defending the homeland—securing borders, protecting citizens, and eliminating threats that endanger our way of life. It requires rebuilding military strength, revitalizing our defense industrial base, and ensuring America remains the world’s leader in energy and technology. And it demands a foreign policy rooted in prudence: prioritizing vital national interests, projecting strength to deter aggression, and forging alliances that advance freedom and sovereignty.

Security is not just about power—it is about preserving a nation where families can thrive in peace. By championing policies that protect our borders, strengthen our economy, and maintain America’s global leadership, we aim to ensure that this Republic remains free, prosperous, and secure for generations to come.
