Asher Fredman is a Visiting Fellow in the Allison Center for National Security at The Heritage Foundation. He was previously the Director for Israel at the Abraham Accords Peace Institute, which has been adopted by The Heritage Foundation.   

Fredman also serves as the Executive Director of the Misgav Institute for National Security. Before he joined the Abraham Accords Peace Institute, he founded the Israeli-Emirati Forum, the largest active Abraham Accords people-to-people platform. He was also a Founding Member of the UAE-Israel Business Council.

Since 2019, he has served as a consultant and writer to senior Israeli public figures, CEOs and civil society leaders. From 2010-2019, he served in various roles in Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office, Strategic Affairs Ministry, and Public Security Ministry, including as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Strategic Affairs.

Originally from New York, he holds a BA and MA from Harvard University in Government and Middle Eastern Studies. He resides in Israel with his wife and four children.
