David Aaronson is a Visiting Fellow in the Allison Center for National Security at The Heritage Foundation. He was previously Deputy Director of the Abraham Accords Peace Institute, which has been adopted by The Heritage Foundation.
In 2020-2021, during the signing of the Abraham Accords, Aaronson served as Senior Advisor to Israel’s Minister of Regional Cooperation. In this role, he was a member of the Israeli Government’s inter-agency team tasked with implementing the Abraham Accords, Israel’s peace treaties with the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.
Aaronson also worked to establish the Abraham Accords Caucus in the Knesset, which was later replicated with the launch of identical Abraham Accords caucuses in the United States Congress and other parliaments around the world.
Aaronson received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Yeshiva University. Born and raised in New York, he currently lives in Givat Shmuel, Israel.
