In a Forbes report from earlier this year, The Heritage Foundation ranked first among think tanks on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and in web traffic. Now, Heritage has hit a new milestone with its reach on YouTube.

The Heritage Foundation’s channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers, earning the organization a coveted Silver Award from YouTube.

Heritage’s YouTube channel publishes videos covering Heritage events, media appearances, podcasts, explainer videos and more. This year, Heritage’s YouTube videos were ranked second to PragerU for the most minutes viewed.

One video, featuring Heritage spokeswoman Genevieve Wood and clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson on the impact of the radical left, has garnered over 675,000 views.

Another video of Heritage expert Amy Swearer’s testimony at a hearing on “Protecting America from Assault Weapons” reached over 650,000 views.

“We’re very excited to have reached this milestone,” says Maria Sousa, Heritage’s digital director. “Our team has worked hard to create an array of video content that allows the research of our experts and the mission of Heritage to be conveniently seen and understood.”

Sousa added: “From Heritage Explains videos to our America’s Biggest Issues series, we are constantly seeking creative ways to inform Americans about important issues in our country. It is wonderful to see our reach expand and know that our efforts are really impacting our fellow Americans.”

Earlier this year, Heritage was ranked No. 1 for the “Best Use of the Internet” in the Global Go-To Think Tank Index from the University of Pennsylvania.
