Our armed forces must be ready to safeguard America’s sovereignty by defending the homeland, establishing primacy in our hemisphere, and projecting strength to deter threats to our vital national interests. Success requires a strong national defense built on a vibrant economy, a robust defense industrial base, and patriotic Americans willing to serve.
