Today is National Voter Registration Day! You may register to vote at the official vote.gov site.

The role of the Supreme Court is vital to our constitutional republic. That is why the current vacancy should be filled promptly. With the new Supreme Court term quickly approaching and a full docket of important cases to decide, we need a full bench with nine justices so that ties can be broken, decisions can be final, and the court can continue its essential work without delay. With many on the Left aiming to stall the critical confirmation process, it’s time for concerned citizens to speak out.

Your Steps to Make a Difference:

1. Read Heritage President Kay C. James’ Fox News Op-ed, Confirm Trump’s Supreme Court Nominee—Don’t Give In to Threats, Senators, then check out The Daily Signal article, Democrats Threaten to Pack Court If Republicans Vote on Ginsburg Replacement This Year. Post either on one or more of your social media accounts using the hashtags #SCOTUS, #RuleofLaw, #FillTheSeat, and #FightForAmerica. If you do not use social media, email the article to 5 of your friends.

2. Find your local polling precinct and sign up with the Board of Elections to be a volunteer poll worker during early voting and/or on Election Day, Nov. 3.

3. Attend your local city council or town hall meeting, virtually or safely in-person. Prior to attending, determine the meeting agenda and be ready to respectfully share your perspective during Q&A.
