The Biden Border Crisis

Oct 8, 2021 2 min read

In the last month, thousands of migrants converged in Del Rio, Texas. Wading across the Rio Grande River from Mexico, most of the nearly 15,000 immigrants were from Haiti. These Haitian migrants started arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border during the summer but have made their entry into the United States in a coordinated fashion, with more expected in the future.

Since the beginning of 2021, there have been 1.3 million illegal immigrants apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border, with migrant apprehensions increasing to nearly 7,000 per day in the last two months. The Biden administration and the Department of Homeland Security have promised a “movement of migrants” and 400 additional Border Patrol agents.

This situation is unsustainable and a more permanent solution to our nation’s continual border crisis must be put into action immediately. We must stand for law and order and for the public safety of U.S. citizens across American. Your voice and values can make a difference!
