Avoidable Tragedy: Widow of Slain Deputy Tells Her Story

Deputy Glenn Hilliard was shot and killed in the line of duty on June 12, 2022. What started as a normal day for Deputy Hilliard ended in a deadly encounter with Austin Davidson, a career criminal who had 29 previous interactions with law enforcement. The blame falls on the shoulders of Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby for not sending Davidson to prison after his conviction for armed robbery.

Mosby, who has a history of pro-criminal policies and sweetheart plea deals, allowed Davidson to get probation before judgment for the armed robbery and walk out of the courtroom, only to commit more crimes. We spoke with his widow, Tashica Hilliard, and Wicomico Sheriff Mike Lewis about the tragedy and how Mosby and rogue, leftist prosecutors around the country like her, are opening floodgates of crime and destruction.
