At The Heritage Foundation, we believe that “people are policy.” Training the best and brightest of our nation’s future leaders is a pillar of Heritage’s approach, thanks to the generosity of countless patriots. In each edition of Young Leaders Magazine, you’ll learn about the exceptional young Americans who take part in and benefit from their experiences.
The Heritage “people pipeline” starts in high school and supports talented young people throughout their careers. We continue to expand our efforts to attract and retain top talent across the conservative movement.
The Lloyd and Bea Smith High School Fellowship Program connects and equips bright high school students to defend conservative values in the classroom and throughout their lives. From classroom to capitol, the program immerses young people in the national conservative conversation and connects them with influential leaders and like-minded students.
The Heritage Foundation’s Young Leaders Program is one of the top policy internships in the nation and is considered a life-changing experience by many participants. The program has launched the careers of thousands of today’s prominent conservatives, including Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser, D.C. Circuit Court Judge Neomi Rao, and host of “The VINCE Show” and the “VINCE” podcast Vince Coglianese.
Together, we are handing down our founding principles for generations to come and forging a future of freedom for all.
