Brad Bishop, a senior communications associate for The Heritage Foundation, worked with an accomplished team of policy experts in the think tank’s Institute for Constitutional Government.

Bishop was responsible for helping develop and execute compelling communication strategies with the goal of effectively advancing Heritage’s commitment to America’s constitutional system. These duties require assisting and developing relationships with news reporters and commentators who cover related issues.

Before joining Heritage in 2016, Bishop spent two and a half years with the office of Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., where he was staff assistant and, later, legislative correspondent. He also spent a year with the Online Lenders Alliance, serving as communications manager.

Bishop holds a bachelor of arts degree in integrated strategic communication, with an emphasis on public relations, and a bachelor of science degree in political science, both from the University of Kentucky.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Bishop grew up in the small suburb of Belleville, Illinois. He currently resides in Washington, but maintains his love for the St. Louis Cardinals.
