Kellyanne Conway on the Importance of Heritage in the Conservative Movement

Jun 26, 2017

Last week, Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, visited The Heritage Foundation and spoke to how great of a resource Heritage has been to the conservative movement.

“The Heritage Foundation has, for decades, been the gold standard,” Conway said. “I know Heritage is a great resource to the men and women on Capitol Hill and has been for decades.”

Conway was at Heritage for the Network of Enlightened Women National Conference, to speak to young women about what it means to be a conservative woman in today’s world.

This is the second time this week that Conway has visited Heritage, previously addressing the Republican Congressional Wives alongside Sean Hannity on Wednesday.

“I also think Heritage has produced really peerless and fearless scholars over the years who are willing to take that out on the road and work with our state-based think tanks and work with our state-based legislators and governors,” Conway said.

“That’s the key because we as conservatives believe in a federal government that does less and that empowers the states to do more.”
