Last week, as tensions rose across the globe regarding threats from North Korea, Heritage experts were highly sought after by cable television and radio producers to share their policy insights, proposals and perspective.

Seven Heritage experts completed more than 35 television interviews on networks, including Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNN International, and MSNBC. They also completed more than 30 radio interviews, and were mentioned in more than 25 publications.

“Heritage's competitive advantage is, we hire world-class analysts, and then we strive to keep that analytic team together, not just to conduct top-notch, forward-looking research, but also so we can always respond on a moment’s notice to educate and inform decision-makers on any breaking crisis,” said James Carafano, vice president for Heritage's Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy and E.W. Richardson Fellow.

“That's clearly seen in our response to the latest news on North Korea. From Day One, our team was the ‘go-to’ resource, not just for the media, but also for policymakers on the Hill.

“Heritage was built to be a 24/7/365 idea factory. Those are our operating hours."
