Description

Last year, China announced it would expand the country’s decades-old population control system from a one-child to a two-child policy.  Despite being called as the “end” of China’s coercive attempts to limit births, the two-child policy has only extended human rights abuses and will continue to threaten China’s future prosperity.

As personal witnesses and news reports show, implementation of the two-child policy remains draconian, the policy still violates human rights, and it will only worsen China’s already difficult demographic and economic situation.

Join us as an expert panel discusses the continued abuses of China’s coercive and dangerous population control system and why China should rescind the two-child policy.
