Therese Pennefather

Therese Pennefather is Director of Creative Services at The Heritage Foundation.

In this position, Pennefather supervises a small, elite group of designers and graphic artists who create print and online products for the think tank. These products range from Heritage brochures and invitations to books, including the annual Index of Economic Freedom – an influential publication that measures the economic freedom of more than 150 countries around the world.

Pennefather joined Heritage in 2002. Before that, she interned for Rep. Edward Schrock (R-VA).

She earned a bachelor's degree in English literature from Villanova University in 2001. Pennefather was born in Denver, and grew up in Clinton, N.Y., and Manassas, Va. She now resides in Arlington, Va.
