Daniel Kochis is a Research Associate in the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom, where he focuses on Trans-Atlantic Security Issues.
His writings have been featured on RealClearWorld, Foxnews.com, and Breitbart.com. A regular radio and TV guest, Daniel has providing expert analysis for over 100 interviews including the Wall Street Journal’s AM News Hub, NewsMax, Sun News, and EWTN News Nightly. Daniel has served as a panelist at the TransatlanticThink Tank Conference in Brussels, Belgium, and provided parliamentary evidence to the United Kingdom House of Lords Select Committee on the Arctic.
Prior to joining the Thatcher Center, Daniel worked at a nonprofit in Washington, DC as a policy analyst as well as the Advisory Board Company as both a research associate and associate director. He is a veteran of President George W. Bush’s reelection campaign in Cuyahoga County, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA, and recently served as a policy researcher on International Assistance issues for the Romney for President Campaign.
Daniel graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Daniel earned his Master of Arts degree in Political Science at Fordham University in New York, NY. At Fordham, he concentrated on comparative political science receiving a Richard A. Bennett Graduate Assistantship.
