Former Senior Policy Analyst in Fiscal Affairs, Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget

Justin Bogie was a senior policy analyst in fiscal affairs at The Heritage Foundation.

Justin Bogie was a senior policy analyst in fiscal affairs in Heritage's Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget. In this capacity, he spent his time focusing on the federal budget, appropriations, and the national debt as well as budget process reform issues. 

 

He appeared nationally on Fox Business Network, C-SPAN, One America News Network and the Christian Broadcasting Network as well as nationally syndicated interviews for Sinclair Broadcasting and Gray TV among others. In addition to Television, Bogie has also appeared on local radio stations across the country and made nationwide appearances including SiriusXM’s POTUS channel, Breitbart Radio, iHeart radio, The Blaze, and EWTN radio. He regularly contributes to The Hill, The National Interest, and The Washington Examiner as well as Heritage’s The Daily Signal. He has also been featured on CNN.com, FoxNews.com, and the Washington Post just to name a few.

 

In 2016, Bogie took a leave of absence from Heritage and served as budget policy advisor to the Trump presidential campaign and also served as a member of the Presidential Transition Team for the Office of Management and Budget.

 

Before joining Heritage, he spent four years working as a policy advisor for the majority staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on the Budget under Chairman and now Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and former Health and Human Services Secretary, Tom Price. He has prior experience in state budget issues as well.

 

Bogie holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from Auburn University.
