Heritage research is packaged into a number of different publication types in order to get policy information to visitors with a variety of needs. The following are categories of publication, along with a brief description of each.
 

Backgrounders
Heritage Backgrounders give researchers the in-depth information they need on a wide variety of key issues. Charts, graphs, and other visuals contained in these studies are also available to clarify the nuances of today's public policy debates.

Executive Memoranda
Heritage's Executive Memoranda give Congressional staff and researchers the policy information they need, in a format that allows quick reference and action.

First Principles
The First Principles series explores the core ideas of the American founding and the role these ideas play in modern civil society.

Heritage Lectures
