SEC. _25. DELAY OF FINES AND FEES. (a) IN GENERAL."Payment of the penalties and feesspecified in section l01(e)(5) shall not be required withrespect to an alien who meets the eligibility criteria setforth in subparagraphs (A), (B), and (F) of section.l22(a)(1) until the date that is 6 years and 6 monthsafter the date of the enactment of this Act or the alienreaches the age of 24, whichever is later. If the alienmakes all of the demonstrations specified in sectionl22(a)(1) by such date, the penalties shall be waived. Ifthe alien fails to make the demonstrations specified in sectionl22(a)(1) by such date, the alien's Z nonimmigrantstatus will be terminated unless the alien pays the penaltiesand fees specified in section l01(e)(5) consistentwith the procedures set forth in section l08 within 90days.
(b) REFUNDS."With respect to an alien who meetsthe eligibility criteria set forth in subparagraphs (A) and
(F) of section l22(a)(1), but not the eligibility criteriain section l22(a)(1)(B), the individual who pays the penaltiesspecified in section l01(e)(5) shall be entitled toa refund when the alien makes all the demonstrationsspecified in section l22(a)(1).
