SEC. _. ESTABLISHMENT OF AN ADDITIONAL UNITED STATES ATTORNEY OFFICE AND AN ADDITIONAL IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT OFFICE.
(a) ESTABLISHMENT OF A SATELLITE UNITEDSTATES ATTORNEY OFFICE IN ST. GEORGE, UTAH."The.Attorney General, acting through the United States Attorneyfor the District of Utah, shall establish a satellite officeunder the jurisdiction of the United States Attorneyfor the District of Utah in St. George, Utah. The primaryfunction of the satellite office shall be to prosecute anddeter criminal activities associated with illegal immigrants.
(b) IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT OFFICE."
(1) ESTABLISHMENT."The Secretary of HomelandSecurity, acting through the Assistant Secretaryof Homeland Security for United States Immigrationand Customs Enforcement, shall establishan office under the jurisdiction of the Assistant Secretarywithin the vicinity of the intersection U.S.Highway 191 and U.S. Highway 491 to reduce theflow of illegal immigrants into the interior of theUnited States.
(2) STAFFING."The office established underparagraph (1) shall be staffed by 5 full-time employees,of whom"
(A) 3 shall work for the Office of Investigations;and
(B) 2 shall work for the Office of Detentionand Removal Operations..
(3) OTHER RESOURCES."The Assistant Secretaryshall provide the office established underparagraph (1) with the resources necessary to accomplishthe purposes of this subsection, includingoffice space, detention beds, and vehicles.
(4) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS."There are authorized to be appropriated to carry outthis subsection"
(A) $1,100,000 for fiscal year 2008; and
(B) such sums as may be necessary foreach of the fiscal years 2009 through 2012.
