Income Characteristics of the Family of Four

This chapter illustrates the income level of families of four. It contains data from the March Current Population Survey published by the Bureau of the Census and the IRS Public Use File, published by the Statistics of Income Division of the IRS.

This chapter also shows families in poverty, as determined by the Bureau of the Census. All families that reported less than 100% of the Census poverty threshold are considered to be in poverty.
