Recent disasters such as the Midwest floods, the California wildfires, and Hurricanes Ike and Gustav demonstrate that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has excelled under Department of Homeland Security leadership.  Recently, however, some critics have called for FEMA to be taken out of DHS jurisdiction and elevated to cabinet-level status.  Join us as our panelists explore why Congress should leave FEMA under the leadership of DHS.
