Proponents of the Export-Import Bank like to say how much the bank helps American small businesses, but those businesses the bank categorizes as “small” receive a slim percentage of total authorizations. Even then, many of the businesses themselves aren’t really “small”—some employ upwards of 1,500 people and have revenues of $21 million annually.
