New Groups Eligible for ESAs in Arizona

Education Savings Accounts in Arizona

In 2013, three new categories of students became eligible for education savings accounts (ESAs) in Arizona, raising the total number of eligible students by nearly 100,000. ... More than 200,000 students in Arizona are now eligible for the accounts.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS ELIGIBLE

Adopted and foster children: 1,200*

Children in military families: 11,500

Children in failing schools: 87,000

Children with special needs: 125,000
