Immigrants Aren't Supposed to Burden Taxpayers, But

Recorded on August 18, 2012

They say that ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Yet those in charge of immigration laws are acting like they're ignorant of their duty.

First the Obama Administration skirts the law by telling a million-plus illegals they can stay in America. Now they're ignoring the requirement that immigrants must be self-sufficient.

The State Department and Homeland Security Department are saying that applicants--legal or illegal--are considered self-sufficient even if they receive Food Stamps, housing benefits, Medicaid, cash to pay utilities, and other help from about 15 federal programs.

The law says those who might become a public charge cannot be admitted without a responsible sponsor who guarantees to take care of them. It appears that we, the taxpayers, are becoming the involuntary sponsors to take care of however many people the Obama Administration invites.
