You Can't Have It Both Ways

Has Medicare been robbed to pay the huge costs of Obamacare?

Absolutely yes, Obamacare takes hundreds of billions of dollars out of Medicare and spends it on Obamacare instead. That will hasten Medicare's bankruptcy by several years, perhaps happening just four years from now instead of twelve years from now.

But the money hasn't been spent yet. There is still time to repeal Obamacare before all those hundreds of billions of dollars are spent.

Meantime, the Obama Administration still pretends the same money can be used twice, and therefore denies that Medicare's bankruptcy is imminent.

If money can actually be saved from Medicare, it should go into strengthening the program, and reforming it so the next generation won't be stuck paying for Medicare but then never receiving it. A premium support revision is one good way to fix that.
