More Dirty Tricks Seek to Distract Voters

Recorded on August 6, 2012

The Presidential race was already at a new low in negative ads. Now come made-up accusations.

Even liberal media are condemning Senate leader Harry Reid for voicing totally unsubstantiated charges against Mitt Romney.

Neither President Obama nor other key Democrats have rebuked Reid. But reporters say Reid is bringing dishonor upon the Senate and is using McCarthy-like tactics.

With unemployment over 8% for the 42nd straight month--and even worse according to other figures--no politician should try to change the subject by making false charges.

Yet another false claim is being circulated. Obama and liberals trumpet a study claiming Romney wants to raise middle-class taxes--even though he's proposed no such thing. The study just guesses that he'd go in that direction.

It's often said that nothing is as certain as death and taxes. Maybe lies and dirty tricks also belong on that list.
