President Obama Warns Us About Villains

Recorded on August 3, 2012

I just listened to President Obama and learned that this year's election is an outright battle of good vs. evil.

Obama told a crowd in Ohio that Mitt Romney wants to take money away from them by raising their taxes, then turn around and give their money to the wealthy.

That would be villainy of the highest order. Darth Vader stuff. Robin Hood in reverse.

But then I checked the details. Obama wasn't actually describing a proposal from Romney. The President quoted guesses by a liberal think about what would happen if Romney is elected. Plus they ignored how lower taxes would boost our economy—which needs all the help it can get.

I cannot decide whether to be upset that our President would stoop to trickery, or whether to be relieved to learn that Romney isn't really the villain that Obama described.
