President Now Owns Fast and Furious Scandal

Recorded on June 20, 2012

The Fast and Furious scandal involves over 200 deaths.

One U.S. Border patrol agent dead and over 200 Mexican citizens were evidently killed by guns deliberately provided to drug cartels.

About 7-thousand pages have been provided to Congress pursuant to subpoena, but that's out of over 100-thousand pages that exist related to the Fast and Furious operation.

Multiple times Congress was given false information about the scandal—including one new admission this week. The withheld papers may show just how high up the effort went to stonewall Congress and avoid political embarrassment.

President Obama now owns this scandal, because he has asserted executive privilege to conceal information—but the President still has not met the legal requirements necessary to justify a claim of privilege. Attorney General Eric Holder is still in the frying pan—but now he's got the President taking the heat along with him.
