Activists Flock to Washington for Obamacare Showdown

Recorded on March 20, 2012

Activists from all across America will soon gather in Washington, as the Supreme Court spends three days hearing arguments over whether Obamacare violates the U.S. Constitution.

Tea Party groups are coming to show opposition to Obamacare. The White House is working with left-wing groups to march in support of the law.

Obamacare is a triple threat: It hurts our economy because it costs a fortune. It hurts health care because it gives bureaucrats enormous control over medicine and insurance. And it hurts the cause of liberty by ignoring Constitutional limits. It flaunts the Constitution with the individual mandate and with the new regulation that ignores religious freedom. It tries to compel church-affiliated groups to ignore their beliefs and provide drugs that induce abortions as well as providing contraceptives.

The Supreme Court's ruling will be a landmark; let's hope it marks a victory for liberty.
