Obamacare: Bad Math, Bad Medicine

It takes time to unravel all the tricks that Washington uses to fool people. If a used car salesman pulled the same stunts as politicians, they'd probably go to jail.

Obamacare was signed into law two years ago this month, with fantastic claims that it would make health care cheaper and would magically save money.

Any lingering delusions should now be gone. A new report from the Congressional Budget Office announces that Obamacare will cost twice as much as we were told.

The new number is $1.7-trillion over 10 years; double what the President claimed. The White House used one of Washington's favorite gimmicks, simply not counting the years when full costs of Obamacare kick in.

We should repeal that law while we still can. Otherwise, it might drive private health insurance out of business, and then where would we be?
