We Don't Change Government; It Changes Us

Recorded on February 9, 2012

Jobs and the economy have been America's top issues, but now social issues are grabbing attention.

As examples, we have:

--The Obama Administration's mandate for employers—even religious employers--to pay for abortion drugs as well as contraceptives.

--Obamacare makes health insurance more expensive, and then says you must buy it

--An appellate court rules that same-sex marriage is a one-way street. Once a state allows it—even if imposed by activist judges—the voters are told they can never restore traditional marriage.

--National media make an all-out assault on those who oppose abortion-provider Planned Parenthood.

--The number of people who depend on government for support skyrockets

As a candidate, Barack Obama proclaimed, "Our government should work for us, not against us." But it seems the change that's happening is not us changing government, but government changing us.
