The crisis at Japan’s Fukushima nuclear power plant is due to a nine point Richter scale earthquake, enough to crumble other structures and generate tsunamis. The problem was not nuclear power it was huge earthquakes.
But what alternatives are affordable? The answer continues to be fossil fuels which burn far more cleanly now than ever before, yet the Obama administration keeps trying to destroy that option.
Since Obama became president, gasoline prices have risen 67% as he keeps shutting off domestic drilling offshore, on public lands and on private lands. He stacked his administration with advocates for higher gasoline prices. His interior secretary once supported ten dollars a gallon. The 67% rise so far under Obama is just the beginning. The next time you fill the tank you might remember who’s making it tougher than ever to pay for it.
