Obama Versus Marriage

Following explicit instructions from President Obama, the U.S. Attorney General says he will stop defending the federal law that accepts only marriages between a man and a woman, because Obama says he's decided that such laws are unconstitutional.
The cover story from the White House is that Obama has been “grappling” with the issue. But many observers saw signs long ago that he would fully embrace the same-sex marriage agenda whenever he thought the political moment was right.
The drafters of our Constitution would be appalled that a President would claim they intended it to create a right to same-sex marriages. But then Obama also reads our Constitution to protect illegal immigrants and also his national health care takeover.
He says he taught constitutional law; it's too bad he didn't study the original intent more closely.
