When China's premier visited the White House, it sparked commentaries about whether China might supplant the USA as the number one superpower.
After Soviet Russia imploded years ago, many Americans assumed we would be unrivaled, so we made mistakes.
It's good when the standard of living is rising in China, but bad when militarism does also. And their new stealth fighter is based on American technology, figured out from one of our crashed jets.
The biggest reason that China is growing faster than us is our own fault. We've handcuffed our economy with the highest business taxes in the world, and crippled it with regulations that kill jobs and make us depend on imported oil. We're growing government when we should be growing jobs. The Chinese aren't smarter than us—it's just that we're doing dumb things to ourselves.
