S 2892: Wartime Enforcement of Fraud Act of 2008
A bill to promote the prosecution and enforcement of frauds against the United States by suspending the statute of limitations during times when Congress has authorized the use of military force.
Would lengthen, from three to five years, the period after the cessation of a war or other use of U.S. armed forces during which the statute of limitations is suspended for crimes of fraud relating to wartime procurement or contracting.
