Who are America’s entrepreneurs? What neighborhoods have the most new businesses?
The U.S. Census Bureau, in cooperation with the Kauffman Foundation and the Minority Business Development Agency, is creating a new annual data source. This new Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs (ASE) will provide an updated socio-economic portrait of America’s business owners. A rotating module design will capture additional information on different relevant business components for each survey year, such as business innovation and research and development activity in the first survey cycle. Join us to hear from experts on how the new data source can inform policymakers.
